You can jump in and swim pretty much anywhere between Hamilton and cambuslang, there are a few good spots on the path past Bothwell castle, don’t jump in anywhere near the city, people will assume the worst. It’s pretty clean but can be much deeper, colder and faster flowing than it appears. If you’re going to go in please don’t go alone
