Aye that's exactly where I remember it being. Think when it became a pool hall it was called the crucible for a while maybe. It's pretty mental to think of the difference between even when I was at primary school to when I was a slightly older teenager: the mainstreet was full of different shops, local bakeries/cafes to get food or a tea or coffee, stuff like the cinema, swimming pool etc. By the time I left high school all that was there was pound shops, charity shops, bookies and junkies.
