| Comment | Council tax isn't linked to nationality or anything. You pay it on your house/flat - its for stuff like schools, roads, refuse collections and the like.
You can get discounts though, free if you're a student and 25% if you're the only person living there. There are also exemptions/discounts based on income but not sure how they work those out. |
