I still can't get over this, it's amazing, in a terrible way - I remember posting on 4chan/b/, when my main goal was trying to create an uninterrupted thread with longcat versions of the Captain Planet kids, to summon Ultra Longcat, or whatever it was called.
Then, /pol/ got the actual neo-nazis, then 8chan became popular (populated by the banned-from-4chan, taking it to new heights of the absurd, as likely to be for posting excessive My Little Ponies as neo-nazism).
Now, here we are - the above might actually have contributed to the election of the last president of the USA, several credible congressional candidates praise "Q", who is probably just an 8chan shitposter who didn't feel like quitting when things got out of hand, not to mention all the voters who accept it without question... |
