I sold a flat a couple of years ago I. Stathbungo/Govanhill. The answer is "Yes, kind of".
The area is a bit funny in that some streets (and perhaps just a part of some street) can be *much* more desirable than others.
It's a great place, not without problem, and seems to be slowly pulling itself out of a hole, thanks in part to the excellent work by the Govanhill Housing Association.
