| Comment | Actually furnished apartments are really common here and even sometimes less expensive. I don't understand why at all, unless it's perhaps to accommodate the large student population that might not want to buy furniture.
And we do have a small Latin American store, Lupe Pinto's! They have real dried chillies, masa harina, salsa, good tortillas and tortilla chips, and sometimes homemade guacamole. It's good enough that I can make Mexican food at home that's not quite the real thing, but satisfies my east coast palate. |
