Some of Govanhill is a run down area unfortunately alot of slumlords used and abused this area along with some unfortunate folk out of pocket by selling for much less than they baught for due to the lack of care taken to the central tenement. Best to avoid the central grids between Dixon avenue and Allison Street.
But saying that they are slowly trying to regenerate the area!
