I mean, I don't disagree, it's a 50minute train journey for me, but I typically avoid the city centre like the plague. :D
That being said, having worked as a structural engineer for two years, I'd say the old tenements are typically the best of a bad lot. They are extremely well built, but unfortunately age is catching up with many of them.
