I'm just trying to wrap my head around a breakdown of costs, retiling on a 6 block \~200sq m roof area tenement I'd be skeptical of quotes over £30k, maybe pushing £50k if timber rot or historic fire damage of some sort has been involved. £100k is a whole new trussed roof for a 3 story tenement with difficult access & requirement for road closure/crane, the whole shebang.

But close to £500k, it just boggles the mind, that is some MAJOR remedial works, if a £500k quote passed my desk for repair works alone I'd be expecting to be looking at a condemned building that's either slipping down a hill or has had the entire interior gutted.
