Try Aldi for cheap groceries. I find the fruit and veg pretty good and we can do a weekly food shop for the two of us for a maximum of around £70, if we buy extra goodies like chocolate or sweets. Without the extras, we've spent as little as £60-65.

Edit: We eat very little meat though and any we do is frozen, so much cheaper.
