| Comment | Yep the whole thing is a joke IMO. I literally cant believe this has happened. I have nowhere near 19k in savings and if the other owners decide to go ahead with the work then I might have to get myself into debt.
I actually have spoke with the neighbour when she initially raised it and she said "the council give out grants for these things so it should be fine". It might be fine for her, shes an older woman who probably has plenty of savings. I'm a fairly new homeowner (this is my first house) and I simply don't have the money to make these repairs. I imagine it will be the same for a number of the owners in the tenement as there are several young home owners like myself who are first time buyers.
I am just so annoyed that she decided to make the factors go ahead with this. It's just opened up a can of worms and ruined my chances of moving to a new home any time soon. I'm absolutely devastated to be honest. Its been a rough couple of days. |
