| Comment | It's become abundantly clear over the last 10 years that The United Kingdom in its current guise is unable and unwilling to protect its most vulnerable citizens. We've seen refugees and immigrants targeted as well plenty of the working and under class people who have had their benefits targeted, we've seen legal aid slashed, all of which contribute to this greater disparity between rich and poor.
The real indication of how well a country is working, or in this case Union, is how well it's able to protect its most vulnerable citizens. I don't think anyone genuinely believes Independence wipes out poverty but this Union has given up on these people and that for me is enough to support Independence. |
