Thanks for your response. I think the factor is contacting the council now with regards to grant funding, then they will organise a meeting with the homeowners to discuss how to move forward.
Absolutely gutted about the whole situation. Seems like with regards to getting it fixed we are damned if we do, damned if we dont.
