My reference towards race specifically relates to immigration. What I was saying was that immigrants that are from the likes of Canada or Sweden would never be in this situation. This disconnect occurs usually towards those coming from the likes of Syria, Zambia, etc
It's not that I don't think Scots/white people get left behind, I think there is *also* a giant social class divide (I've experienced it myself, the SQA grades situation is proof it wasn't in my head).
However these situations are apples and oranges - both government related but separate issues altogether. |
