| Comment | In most cases driving is still the most convenient option for getting around the city, so I completely understand why it's the default option for a lot of folk, especially vulnerable groups or those with kids. However, lockdown showed that fare capable of making sacrifices for a greater good instead of just doing what suits them, so I think it's a shame that folk have gone back en masse to an activity that harms the environment and the social atmosphere in the city.
I agree that the alternatives need to be better and the authorities need to do more. |
