Comment	Monzo is great, and free. They don't have any banks and all of it is online, and it's really easy to set up an account with them. Contactless card. I just love Monzo. I also use Transferwise to send money from my foreign bank account to my UK one, and they always seem to offer the best price. I'd avoid Santander. I went with them when I moved here (from a EU country) and with their standard bank account I didn't get contactless (because I'd have to have lived in the UK for 3 years) and it was impossible to set up PayPal.
