Came here to say Oatlands. I'm always fascinated that no one has heard of it but when I was doing a project at my old work four years ago I came across a map from the 1940s that had Oatlands on it. So it's not like the developers dreamt it up. I love it here. Less than ten mins to the Green and two mins to the m74. Perfectly placed and very affordable compared to the proper southside!
