Would you be selling a property in the US or looking to rent?

Obviously absolutely everything depends on where you decide to live and work.

A typical rent for a flatshare in the south side of glasgow would be somewhere between £500-£650 per month.
If you’re based in the south side and work in the city centre- your public transport would be about £5 a day. (You can get lower with travel cards etc but just dealing in round numbers here)

Food- again- you cut your cloth to suit your needs and it depends what you like to eat. I’d say on the whole grocery shopping is a similar price to the US although Aldi and Lidl (Which I don’t believe you have) is a German export which seems to be consistently cheaper. They are getting to be fairly common across town.

What kind of job would you be looking for? Assuming you’re over 21, our average minimum wage tends to be somewhere around £15k
