| Comment | I think it's a difficult one. I completely understand why the council removed those services and I also completely understand why bin men and women would be reluctant to be traipsing in and out of closes all over the city, picking up items that have been God knows where during a pandemic, they have the right, just like the rest of us to be protected at work.
On the other hand, I think the Council have completely failed from a communications perspective. I appreciate that there may well be lots of negotiating going on but something of an update advising folk on where they are with these discussions or a timeline of when they may start these services again would certainly appease people. |
