Comment | From what I’ve observed as someone who’s covered the end of year shows a few times, it’s increasingly a place where technical skill isn’t valued and isn’t taught.
Instead it’s a place for badly executed concepts and ideas. There’s been a few bright spots over the years, usually from people who have studied elsewhere and transferred in to GSA. But on the whole it’s a pretty dire place that’s become horribly complacent and over-reliant on its reputation. |
