There's 3 climbing walls in Glasgow, 2 of which are owned by the same company. The Climbing Academy has 2 climbing walls, one in Maryhill (The propstore) and southside (the newsroom). Glasgow climbing center, located in southside, has a smaller bouldering wall than the others but is more focused to rope climbing, although the prop store also has a small rope area and a few auto belays. Not sure what expensive is to you, but both gyms are I believe around the same price, I think they are both roughly a tenner just for single visit entry, shoes might be around £2, they both have memberships which would make it a lot more worthwhile if you're going anymore than once a week.
