The government can provide fiscal stimulus to the economy when required so don't act like its more important than people's lives.

People don't starve when they lose their jobs the majority of the time in glasgow. There's literally food banks operating every single day and has been throughout this crisis and before. I know, I regularly donate food there.

I hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of them would Gladly lose their job and have to find another one to save members of their own family's lives. Wouldn't you? Or would you rather work at Wetherspoons and have your parents die?
