What you fail to quote is exactly the fact that people with underlying health conditions as simple as athsma are affected much worse than 0.5% death rate.
Do you know how much of the population is affected by underlying conditions?
I completely get where your coming from, shield the vulnerable and allow the rest to continue. The problem is that "the rest" often don't know they have underlying conditions. They spread the virus around everywhere and it reaches the vulnerable when "the rest" go home to them or take them messages.
I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud. This is a serious situation. |
