>we can deal with them when we come to them.

That's exactly the type of lazy, piss-poor, uninterested attitude, typical to so many who haven't got the first clue as to the severity of the virus, that caused the whole country to be so badly impacted in the first place. Korea warned us, Italy warned us, Spain warned us, France warned us and not a single, effective measure was put in place until long after it was too late.

Surely articles such as [this](https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertglatter/2020/08/17/covid-19-can-cause-heart-damageeven-if-you-are-asymptomatic/) and [this](https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/07/brain-fog-heart-damage-covid-19-s-lingering-problems-alarm-scientists) have made you consider that it's more than just a minor thing?

>You don't need to be a medical professional to count the number of reported long term effects and divide by the number of people who have had the virus.

Statistics are only useful when you are getting a true representative number to work with. The only give an overview too and do nothing to show what kinds of effects these positive cases will have on is as a society in 1, 5, 10+ years.
