| Comment | I think the buses stop stopping at the airport when the flights aren't meant to be running, so there is a gap in the middle of the night. But Edinburgh to Glasgow proper keeps running all through the night, used to take it for work. The 3am bus from Edinburgh to Glasgow is fucking amazing. Early in the week it'll be a handful of tired people essentially having a sleepover, but on a Friday night... pissed up Glaswegians all wanting to get home, the things you see... Remember a bus driver only letting a few people on at Haymarket cos he was full, and a guy wasn't being let on, so he pulls out his phone to film it like waiting an hour for a bus is some great oppression, says he won't go etc. Then big guy gets up from the back, walks down the bus, smacks the guys phone out his hand and the open door and goes "Go get your fucking phone". Wee man goes to get his phone, big man goes "shut the door and drive" and we jetted off into the night. |
