As others have said, check the cancellation terms and see if they are actually able to do this. If there is any hint they've acted against their terms, go for their throats.
Worst comes to worst, I would suggest explaining to your previous job to see of you can get it back. Given you left for education I would be surprised if they were holding that decision against you. |
