| Comment | Definitely apply for UC and do it ASAP as it can take 5 weeks to get your first payment. I think that the idea you do not qualify if leaving employment voluntarily goes back to the previous system and no longer applies. When I applied a couple of years ago I don't remember the issue being raised, which at the time surprised me as I was expecting all kinds of questions regarding it. Even if it is an issue, under your circumstances I'm pretty sure that it would not apply to yourself. |
