the bit through tradeston is pretty shitty in an empty/littered/graffiti strewn post industrial decay type of way. however it's a very busy and well lit road so you would probably be ok. Worst bit is probably around the Clyde but stick to the main bridge (ie dont take a detour by the river) and you'll be fine
