It's been said before but I really have to just emphasise this:

Glasgow's temperature ranges from about 0-20 degrees, regardless of the season. It rains about half the time, again, regardless of the season. It's usually a bit windy, maybe like just windy enough to break your umbrella. It's always overcast, except when it isn't when it's totally glorious. It doesn't snow, except sometimes when you get puddles of slush and grit. It does get pretty dark in winter, though. Like sun up at 10 and down again at 2, and behind cloud that whole time.

The pubs never shut, and people only stay inside in winter a little bit more than in summer. It's still as much of a decent place to be in January as in August.

That all said, we might be on lockdown again by then.
