Really recommend getting in touch with Living Rent the tenants union. You can just search for them on Facebook and give them a message with the details and they will get back to you asap. They've got a good track record in dealing with cases like this and they will be able to negotiate a payment reduction. The Scottish Govt have all sorts for landlords but nothing for tenants it seems! |
