| Comment | That’s very true. I used to live in one of the old tenements towards the Finnieston end of argyle street. On one hand, about half of the building was home to well off, artsy types. On the other hand, there was an abandoned flat below us that had been empty for years and a guy who was quite obviously selling some very illegal substances above us. The whole city is full of contrasts like that.
The flat is on Alexandra parade so it’s further away from Haghill. I was a big fan of the hipster coffee shops on argyle street so I have a feeling that side of Dennistoun might suit me. |
