Comment	It seems generational. Back when I was young a house party was called an empty; "Karen's having an empty the night. Are you going?" Today they say "Karen's having a gaff tonight. Are you going?" A "gaff" when we where young was the location, not the event; but, today a gaff is the event more than it is the location.
