I kind of agree? All buildings look dated after a while. All of them. Old and new.
I genuinely don't understand the fascination with preserving something past it's 'best before date'. Whether it is an ancient and rotten sandstone tenement or whether it's a glass and metal structure from the the early 2000s. Once it's dated and old and has served it's purpose it should be time to rip it down and build something new.
We should be striving to live in a constant state of flux and modernisation rather that having a fetish for the yesteryear. |
