Comment | Just to pick up on one of your points (#2) - while it can take up to 14 days to become symptomatic after a person becomes infected, evidence indicates that people are only infectious at most 2 days before symptoms develop. That's why it is only important to trace contacts from 2 days prior to onset of symptoms. It shouldn't be from date of test or test result, which could be several days after onset of symptoms. |
