| Comment | I take your point about asymptomatic infections. There is no obvious cut off point at which someone with an asymptomatic infection might be infectious, which complicates contact tracing. Asymptomatic people are less infectious than people who have symptoms, but unfortunately are able to transmit. This, and pre-symptomatic transmission are the key features of this disease that mean it cannot be eradicated. |
