No, but it *is* inconsiderate.
- Obstructs closes. At best an inconvenience, at worst a fire hazard.
- Attracts thieves into the close, and into closes in general.
- Handrails are easily broken, with all residents having to foot the bill.
I say this as an owner of multiple bikes who has lived in various tenements. There are ways to store bikes indoors making use of 'dead space' but people just can't be bothered. |
