| Comment | I think so. We live in a society. We should do our best to help the worst off. I understand this might come across as a bit bleeding heart but, a lot of heroin addicts have had quite harrowing childhoods me and you probably couldn't imagine. I'm not saying we as individuals should be out there providing them with practical support but we should defo be encouraging our government to provide support rather than criminalizing them. That hasn't worked, its obvious. The scandinavians and Portugal have taken addicts out the criminal justice system and placed them in health care and it seems to work better. |
