Comment | There's a lot of truth in what you're saying. Working in addictions can be like banging your head against a wall for 8 hours a day and it's mostly harm reduction rather than recovery. There is one cure for addiction and that is to stop taking whatever you're addicted to, which is completely down to the addict. I just feel that if the governments opinion is that these people are criminal no-hopers then it makes it much more difficult for them to find a place in society. It's an illness and should be treated as such. The evidence is there but it's an unpopular position for a government to take. Anyway I'm off to bed.
