I've always seen it as, if you have Glasgow in your address, you can class yourself as Glaswegian. People are always going to debate it, though. I'm from Hillington and my address has Glasgow in it but several people are convinced Hillington is Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire alone, not Glasgow.
