Its residential area, families & older people. safe enough. you have some shops in Anniesland and about 20min-30min walk to Byres rd area if you want more cafes, pubs, night life etc. Trains from Kelvindale (infrequently into Queen St) or Anniesland (more frequently Queen St or Central). Frequent buses along Gt Western rd into town/the west end
Nice green spaces nearby- River Kelvin, the canal, Dawsholm, Bingham's pond/Gartnavel. |
