Size wise it looks like a 5amp round pin socket, There are versions with safety features like out standard sockets that have the shutters in th socket to avoid people put things in them and a switch.

Your biggest issue replacing the faceplate is the screws are vertical aligned as the new ones have horizontal alignment.

So it would be sideways. Nothing other than a visual annoyance.
