Comment	Yeah it's protected. The inventory is a grey area tho. We were given one when we moved in and told to go through it and sign it then post it to the letting agent. Basically there isn't a post office near us so we didn't do this and it was never sent. I'm ok paying for the carpets getting cleaned but it seems like if we are sticking to the contract, the landlord should too
