I really dislike people that wear face coverings really loosely, or don't put it over their nose - I can't stand the half-hearted effort. See also folk that pull their jacket up over their nose or press their scarf to their mouth to do the bear minimum.
The folk that have them to put on only when they think they might get reprimanded - like departing a train if they think they'll see staff at the station but didn't wear it for their journey - deserve their own corner of hell.
I do think that the government, be it Westminster, Holyrood or councils, should be distributing masks fairly generously. The English lot spent the equivalent of around £450 per household on their track and trace efforts (which includes the abandoned bespoke app that cost £££ for no moral reasons).; imagine if that went on decent masks and safety information instead! |
