You’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere in walking distance to park for free - GCC have went full Edinburgh with the pricing and any private land is manned and or charges you. If possible look at spaces for rent in the city centre - sometimes they’re not too unreasonable (gumtree/Facebook marketplace) or look at parking at a train station/subway and leaving the motor there. It’s not free but it might be cheaper than parking five days a week. |
