You're being a bit obtuse here. We do things to stop common causes of death where we can all the time. We don't just do literally nothing and accept it.
If you're talking cancer, heart disease, hunger, or just plain household accidents: we have anti-smoking campaigns, regulations about sugars/fat content in foods, emergency famine relief, regulations for labelling on foods and dangerous tools / toxic materials. |
