| Comment | it isnt just glasgow tbh, edinburgh is just as bad for this and just general litter. I think there has to be a fundamental problem with the mentality of the majority of scottish urbanites.
I remember a couple of years ago I took a trip to new york and visited a beach. It was one you had to drive to so it wasnt really accessible to tourists (i was driven there by a friend i was staying with) so im willing to bet that the vast majority of the people there were genuine new yorkers. And there was a lot of them, I cannae guess at the numbers but it was in the upper hundreds at least. As we were all leaving I remember noticing how free of litter the beach was. If there had been that many glaswegians on a beach it would have been fucking trashed. |
