I think the point is that pubs are open with restrictions in place to try and mitigate the spread of the virus, where as the schools are carrying on as if fuck all has happened. And btw I'm not arguing that there should be no rules for the pubs, because I definitely think there should be.
But the person you're replying to has a point. There's a school not far from my work (in a busy part of the town) and if I'm out my lunchtime walk when it's the school's lunch break, I see them piling into the takeaway joints and Tesco in groups of way more than 6 without a care in the world. |
