| Comment | Pros of Springburn:
- 5 minutes away from queen st on the express train (every half hour)
- cheap rent
- nice park with Saturday park runs and a community village
- good community spirit
- Lidl and Tesco Extra are a 15 minute walk away
- the library and the gym/swimming pool are nice
Cons:
- it's a deprived area
- there is not much to do besides what I've mentioned
- some streets are not super safe
I lived there when I was a student and it was fine. It's not the best area, not the worst. I felt relatively safe there as a young woman. Happy to answer any questions you might have. |
