Just to be clear on the timeline here.
1. She felt unwell.
2. She got a test.
3. She felt better.
4. She travelled to London by Rail.
5. She got the result of the test.
6. She travelled home by Rail.
This may seem a bit controversial but #4 is stupidity but understandable stupidity. She felt better and presumably played it down in her head at that point.
