Top does have benefits, no noise above and we normally don’t need our heating on March - October. Less noise from the close door etc.

But since we’ve been stuck in all day, every day I feel like our floor boards have got louder and I do feel bad for my neighbour below.

Stairs are a pain when you’ve done your big shop and bought something else heavy. Logistics of what goes up first, or do you strongman it and take the lot.

Someone else said the key thing though, neighbours make a close! If it’s dirty / got junk lying about I would avoid regardless of floor.
